This 10-day itinerary gives you the chance to experience the best Jordan has to offer, combining ancient ruins like  Petra with beautiful Middle Eastern landscapes, like the impressive expanse of Wadi Rum. Your trip begins in Amman. Once you land, you can tour the city or relax at your hotel. The following morning, you'll set out for a tour of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East, before heading north to spend a day in Umm Qais, near the ancient ruins of Gadara in northwestern Jordan. 

Stop for a tour of Ajloun—a 12th-century Muslim castle—on your way back to Amman, then go on a tour of the city the following morning to see the Citadel, the Roman Theater, and several souks before driving south to the Dana Biosphere Reserve where you'll eat dinner under the stars and spend the night at a stunning ecolodge. 

The following morning, you can choose between the different activities the lodge offers: hiking, biking, or a cooking class. Then in the afternoon, your guide will take you to Siq al-Barid, more commonly known as Little Petra, to visit the ruins there. 

Next, drive to Petra and spend the day exploring the ruins, including the Treasury, the Street of Facades, and the High Place of Sacrifice. After a full day of exploring, drive out to the Wadi Rum desert to spend the night at a Bedouin camp.

Wake up in your camp the following morning and discover the secrets of the desert on a four-hour Jeep tour, before driving to Aqaba and enjoying an evening on the shores of the Red Sea. Get out on the water with a glass-bottomed boat and snorkeling tour, before hopping back into your car to drive to the final stop of your trip: the Dead Sea, famous for being the lowest place on earth. This 10-day trip starts off in Tel Aviv, where your driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel to rest after your flight. The following morning, visit the city center—including Rabin Square, Carmel Market, and Old Jaffa—before leaving the city behind and driving southeast to Nazareth.

Nazareth is known for being Jesus' boyhood village (now a bustling city). Visit the Church of the Annunciation and the Mount of Beatitudes (site of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount), then drive on to Capernaum, a small fishing village on the Sea of Galilee, before continuing on to Umm Qais to spend the night. 

The following day, visit the 12th-century Ajloun Castle and the ruins of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East. When you're ready, make your way to Jordan's capital, Amman. The following day (day five), tour Amman in the morning to see the Amman Citadel (Jabal al Qal'a) and the 2nd-century Roman Theater before continuing on to Mount Nebo, and finally to the Dana Biosphere Reserve, where you'll enjoy a night under the stars at an ecolodge. 

Next, you'll visit Siq al-Barid—also known as "Little Petra," before continuing on to Petra itself the following day. Spend a full day exploring the ancient Nabataean city before driving out into the Wadi Rum desert, where you'll sleep in a traditional Bedouin camp. Tour the desert the following morning before continuing on to the Dead Sea, where you can float in the mineral-rich waters and enjoy a mud treatment.

Start your trip in Amman, and use the city as a jumping-off point to visit the Greco-Roman ruins of Jerash and Ajloun Castle. Then, go on a tour of Old Amman before checking out of your hotel and driving to Madaba, where you'll see the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue on to Petra and spend the night in nearby Wadi Musa

Next, spend a full day touring Petra's ancient Nabatean ruins, including the Treasury, the Street of Facades, and the Monastery. After a full day immersed in ancient history, drive out into the desert of Wadi Rum and sleep in a Bedouin-style camp under the stars. 

The following morning, go on a four-hour Jeep tour of the desert to see red sand dunes, rocky canyons, and millennia-old petroglyphs before driving back to Amman, where you'll spend the night. Then, you'll cross over the border into Israel on day six of your trip and visit Jericho and Qumran National Park on your way to Jerusalem. 

On day seven, tour Old Jerusalem, including the Mount of Olives, the Church of the Pater Noster, the Wailing Wall, and the Dome of the Rock. Then, take a day trip to Nazareth and Galilee on day eight to see Jesus' boyhood village (now a large city).

Start your tour of Jordan's Holy Land in Amman, where you can visit the Citadel's archeological museum, which contains the famous Deir Alla inscription referencing Balaam (from Numbers 22-24), and the Jordan Museum, where the famous Copper Scroll is kept. 

Then, drive into the Jordan Valley to see the cave in Anjara where Jesus once rested with his disciples and the Greco-Roman ruins of Jerash, before ending the day in Umm Qais. The following morning, follow in the footsteps of ancient Christians by visiting the ruins of Pella and the Biblical site of Gadara before spending the night in Madaba. 

On day four, visit Bethany on the Jordan, the site of Jesus' baptism. From there, continue on to Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land but was not allowed to enter, before ending the day on the shores of the Dead Sea.

Next, visit UNESCO World Heritage Site Um Ar Rasas on your way to the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. Spend a day exploring the ruins, then go on a Jeep tour of the Wadi Rum desert, one of the places where the Israelites camped during the Exodus. 

On day eight, head back towards the Dead Sea, with a stop at Lot's Cave—located on a steep hillside near the town of Ghor Safi—and Kerak, a large Crusader Castle. This 10-day adventure begins in Cairo. On your first day in town, visit the Khan El Khalili bazaar and explore the city. Early the next morning, your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, as well as the enigmatic Sphinx and the nearby Valley Temple

Spend the following day exploring Cairo, including a stop at the Egyptian Museum and the Saladin Citadel, before catching an early flight to Jordan on day four of your trip. Once you land, you'll have the rest of the day to tour the city and relax.

Then, visit the ruins of Jerash Aljoun Castle, Madaba, and Mount Nebo, before finally arriving on the shores of the Dead Sea. Relax at your resort for the night, then in the morning drive down the King's Highway to Petra. 

On day eight, you'll have the entire day to explore Petra, from the Siq to the Treasury, the Colonnaded Street, and the Theater. In the evening, your guide will take you to sleep in a traditional Bedouin camp in the Wadi Rum desert.
