"At Routescape we aim create exceptional journeys across Great Britain, Ireland and France. My personal goal is find the right thing for my clients across each of these unique destinations. While the place is always the most important part of any trip, I have to admit, I'm a sucker for a great hotel. If you're looking for something unique, from an extravagant country house hotel to a beautifully designed village pub, I thrive on curating an experience for my friends and my clients, making sure they find exactly what they're looking for. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"I grew up in a family of intrepid travellers: my father canoed the Coppermine River to the Arctic Circle, sailed his boat across the Atlantic from Portsmouth to New York Harbour, and bicycled across the USA. My mother traversed Africa, Australia and South America by bus and truck. I have done my best to keep up, exploring much of the Middle East and Europe overland, living in far-flung destinations such as India and Turkey. While I now base myself in London, I have explored much of the United Kingdom and hope to share my love of these green and pleasant lands with my clients."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"For me, landing in a new place and taking that first step off the plane, getting a waft of freedom and fresh air, and breathing in the life and energy of the place is the most exhilarating part of any travel experience.

I'll never forget the first time I flew into Istanbul, arriving at sunrise when the Bosporus was glowing pink and the mosques of the Old City were glimmering into the sunlight. The moment I stepped off the plane I felt like I'd come home."
