Leandro Zamprogno
Hello there! Planning to come to South America? Then I'm your contact here, I'll be super happy to help you plan your trip!
I have been part of the sales team at Trips SouthAmerica for the last 10 years and I keep the same pleasure to show the beauty of these countries as it was the very first day.
My mission is to create experiences and advise future travelers to guarantee an excellent adventure in South America.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I like to specialize on what you are needing. If I don't have the knowledge, I'll investigate how's the best way to give you what you are looking for. I like to tailor made experiences: hiking in Patagonia, biking & kayaking on the Lakes District, wine tastings in Mendoza and Santiago de Chile, glamping, homestays or top luxury..."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I have always been attracted to languages and cultures and with the pass of the time I felt in love with our landscapes and people. Tourism was, then, a perfect combination to join my two passions. Since many years now I have the pleasure to show my region to the rest of the world."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Some years ago we had the opportunity to welcome a high profile minister from the Middle East, we really learnt a lot about their culture in order to adapt our manners and procedures to their conservative requirements. It was a very interesting process that turned out to be both educative and also a great success, the entourage party had a really good time in our country."

The Leandro team was professional and planned us out a wonderful trip. Overall, the trip, which had many moving parts, went off as planned, and saved us many hours of research. We liked the amount of time spent in each place, the lodging chosen for us, the guide and transportation services. The details were all taken care of, and we could transition from place to place without stress. We found the people we met to be warm and welcoming.

Our trip to Argentina was amazing. Andrea was great a great help on WhatsApp when we had questions and Fabio was such a good driver. We loved the city vibe of Buenos Aires and the tango show was a highlight. Ushuaia was a neat port city. We really enjoyed our free day hiking to Laguna Esmeralda. The capybaras that we saw in Iguazu were adorable and the waterfalls epic. Leandro touched base with us throughout the trip and we really appreciated the detailed itinerary and assistance that he... read more

Kimkim is reliable Travel agency and Leandro is amazing Travel Agent. We used Kimkim for our trip to Chile, our first trip ever to explore South America.
Leandro is very friendly, knowledgeable and always reachable. He is also very flexible when it comes to customising the trip. We had little issue with the tour operator and Leandro helped us to resolve the issue instantly. Lots of people do not see the value of travel agency and think they are overpriced!! You pay for the convenience and... read more

I'm glad you had a nice time with us in Chile I hope to have the opportunity to arrange another trip for you in the near future either in Chile or Argentina. Pity the weather in the south ruined your plans for the Marble Caves, but nature is unpredictable, more out of season :(
You need to return for a second chance :) !

I had a great experience with Kimkim thanks to Leandro. I had to book all the details of a trip to El Chalten and El Calafate within 24 hours of take-off during high season. There was very little hotel and tour availability, and the these destinations and tours also can require a significant amount of complicated ground transportation, with required tour guide coordination to allow entry into Glacier National Park. Leandro was able to get me a private room in each location, and book me with... read more

The whole process was easy, and seamless. Everything was done through online communication and the response time was often less than one day. Overall our trip was seamless and the only areas that brought up any concern had nothing to do with the travel planner but more with the Covid situation. read more
