Matias Alemani

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have always enjoyed traveling, going to new places, and meeting new people. I am also passionate about painting, photography, and the arts in general.

I love my job and I find it so interesting to listen to travelers, understand their preferences and needs, and create unique experiences for them. I am also a local, with excellent networks around the country and insights into the best places to go and things to see and do.

I aim to tailor-make a unique and unforgettable experience for every customer!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"In terms of activities, I can tailor-make trips to suit your needs, but I particularly enjoy unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, adventure activities, wine tasting, culinary experiences, culture & arts, and photography tours."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I studied hotel management at the university in Buenos Aires and since, all of my work experience has been in the hospitality and tourism industry. Right before I graduated, I had the opportunity to work at Stratton Mountain Ski Resort in Vermont, USA. That experience was a milestone for me and helped me discover how much I love meeting and interacting with people from all over the world.

My curiosity to discover new places and cultures, and my love for nature, have led me to the travel industry. I love bringing people together and encouraging everybody to explore the world."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"One of the most memorable trips I made that first come to mind was in the province of Jujuy, in northwest Argentina. A highlight was the famous Tren a las Nubes (Train to the Clouds), a tourist train that connects the Argentine northwest to southern Chile via the Andes Mountains. This route zigzags between lonely mountain roads and vast expanses of high desert plains. Along the way, I had the opportunity to stop and visit different small towns and communities. I also visited the picturesque Purmamarca, a popular village filled with adobe houses and craft markets where the iconic Cerro de Los Siete Colores (Hill of the Seven Colors) is located. "
