Taf Chindove
I am a consultant for Salty.Travel and have always wanted to travel the world. Having been to most of Southern Africa, I am itching to share my travel experiences. This is my passion and nothing makes me happier than sending someone on a once in a lifetime trip that will leave them with beautiful memories that will last forever.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I specialize in South Africa and all the major tours and activities it has to offer; having grown up in Zimbabwe, Vic Falls is also one of my specialties; Botswana and Mauritius ."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I studied Hospitality Management, then worked a little in the timeshare industry as a Sales consultant. That's when I realized Travel and Tourism was my passion and as such I ended up branching completely into the travel industry."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I went on an Educational to Mauritius and loved every bit of it. The people were so warm and friendly, the food and wine was world class and I got to do so many fun activities. From snorkeling to swimming with the dolphins, this travel experience allowed me to tick off a number of bucket list experiences. Most of the island is unspoiled so I got in touch with nature. This was truly an experience I will never forget."

Namibia Self-Drive Adventure - 8 Days
Often called "Africa for beginners," this eight-day road trip is a great introduction to the otherworldly landscapes, activities, and culture of Namibia. Kick off the trip in Windhoek, the modern capital, before delving into the Namib Desert for massive dunes, rivers, canyons, and gorges. From here, continue west toward the Atlantic coast for two nights of seaside splendor. Circle back to Windhoek by way of Spitzkoppe—the "Matterhorn" of Namibia—for some hiking and rock art to finish the adventure.
Best Time of Year for a Self-Drive Trip in South Africa
An excellent way to cover a lot of ground and see South Africa's top highlights is to hire a car and go on a road trip. The best time to hop in a vehicle is during the shoulder season (spring and fall) when the prices are low and fewer travelers are on the road. Yet each season offers fine weather and excellent opportunities for wildlife spotting and outdoor excursions—it all depends on where in the country you plan to be. Read on to find out what season suits you best.
How Many Days to Spend in Kruger National Park
Kruger is the park with the greatest diversity of wildlife in South Africa, and you could spend up to a week enjoying safari and nature walks here. A minimum of two days will give you a real taste for the park’s stupendous wildlife viewing, but you’ll want at least five days to truly appreciate its diversity. With a park this spectacular, even two weeks isn't too long, especially when combined with Victoria Falls.

Jun 24 - Jul 5, 2022
Tafadzwa (Taf to us) Chindove was the generous genius that helped my family plan and execute our life changing trip to Southern Africa. It was the 50th anniversary of our marriage, the high school graduation of our oldest grandchild, the 15th wedding anniversary of one of our children and so much more to celebrate that the trip just had to be perfect. It exceeded all of sour expectations.
There were 22 of our family on that trip. My wife and I, all four of our kids and spouses and all of... read more

We just returned from an 18-day trip. What an amazing experience!!! We want to say it was a Trip-of-a-Lifetime, but we loved it so much, we plan to return. This trip was two years in the making due to Covid restrictions. Thank you, Taf, for coordinating this entire trip for us. It was perfectly planned! And we appreciate your prompt replies to all our concerns prior to going. Once we arrived to Uganda, we realized our fears were due to social media/political issues of our own country. ... read more
